I started at microDON as a Product Design apprentice and stayed for three years, evolving from squad-level contributor to the sole designer across the company.
In my first year, I worked alongside a Lead Designer while managing real-world responsibilities on live products. When she moved on at the end of that year, I stepped up to own design decisions across two products and multiple platforms, all while finishing my apprenticeship.
Over the next two years, I led the end-to-end design process, from discovery and research to accessibility audits, prototyping, and developer handoff.
I work best on complex, multi-layered problems. Having operated in regulated environments for nearly three years with little documentation or historical analytics, I’ve learned to make decisive choices with the information at hand.
Iteration is my primary tool for navigating ambiguity. I embrace imperfection early on, knowing that refinement comes through feedback. It allows me to stay bold during exploration, I remind myself that we’re designing for impact, not saving lives, so there is always room for a second shot.
Beyond pure software, I am drawn to the intersection of the physical and digital—interfaces that involve hardware, sensors, real-world environments, or complex human behaviors. I am currently exploring opportunities in MedTech and Mobility / Smart Cities, specifically where I can apply my experience in AI and physical-digital integration.
